When you first enter the game you are introduced, after which you have to choose a name for your team and choose a coach (no effect on anything). Next, you will be asked to sign a contract with the captain of your team. You are given nine players to choose from, who have ten parameters (and a few that don’t affect the game) and various stats to them. For example, Paulo Dybala has speed 82, acceleration 83, stamina 80 and other stats. After selecting a team captain, you will be asked to play a practice match where you will be taught the mechanics of the game – how to move, shoot and tackle the ball.

In the main menu of the game you can choose how you want to play – build your soccer career or play a one-off local match. In career mode you act as a coach. There are four panels in the main career menu. The first panel gives you the opportunity to start another match in the division, where you will face one of fifteen teams. The other three panels are for team and club editing. The “Team Management” panel gives you the possibility to replace players, place them on the pitch using tactics, restore their energy and train them to improve their performance. In the “Transfers” section you will search (with the help of scouts and agents) and buy new players for your team. And in the “My Club” section you will modernize your club’s infrastructure by improving the stadium, training grounds and much more.

The game has a low entry threshold due to its simple and user-friendly interface. Because of this, users do not have to spend a lot of time to learn it and they can quickly start playing the game. Dream League Soccer has calm and pleasant music, which is created especially for this game. It accompanies the players during the whole gameplay. The game has uncomfortable controls. When moving your soccer player for a long time adjusts to the movement of the joystick, and it is not clear for what operations are responsible for the action buttons. All because they are responsible for almost the same thing, but have no recognizable signs.
