When you first enter the game, you will be told a short story of the game. The plot is that you have been chosen by the Volt-Tec company to be the caretaker of a shelter that protects the inhabitants from the dangers of the wasteland. You will build the shelter, and the bigger it is, the harder it is to keep an eye on it. The shelter has many floors that lead underground. To access the lower floors, you will need to build elevators. You will need the lower floors in order to build rooms there. Each room is an important part of the shelter. You will build the main rooms – canteens and water treatment plants so that your residents have food and water, generators to supply all rooms with electricity, and living rooms to house more residents.
You will need to build medical stations and laboratories so that residents can produce stimulants to restore health and anti-radin to eliminate radiation exposure. As the number of residents increases, you will have the opportunity to build training rooms – gymnasium, game room, fitness room, living room and others.
These rooms are needed to increase the characteristics of your occupants. The higher the characteristics, the better they will be able to do their jobs. For example, in order to get food for the residents faster from the “Dining Room” room, the workers must have a high dexterity score. After the number of residents in your shelter will be equal to eighteen, you can build a caretaker’s office. It is needed to send your residents on expeditions. There you will be able to get unique equipment – weapons, clothes and much more.
The game has a low entry threshold due to its simplicity. This means that it is easy to understand and start playing. Fallout Shelter has simple and interesting gameplay that you won’t have to spend a large amount of time on. For quality development of your shelter, you just need to log into the game once a day and perform a couple of actions. In the game there are qualitatively developed sounds, which are played when you perform certain actions (for example, when extinguishing a fire or leveling up).
